ISYA 2014 is back in Chiang Mai

36th International School for Young Astronomers: ISYA 2014 commenced its inauguration. Under the theme of "Modern Astrophysics Theory and Observation", ISYA 2014 is packed with world renowned astronomers, researchers, and guest speakers from different fields and related sciences in astronomy and astrophysics to ensure that 39 participants (students from different regions of the world) are well taken care of. ISYA 2014 starts from Nov 24 to Dec 12, 2014.


Furthermore, on Nov 25, 2014, Prof. Boonrucksar Soonthornthum, NARIT Executive Director dropped in to greet ISYA 2014 participants. "ISYA is back in Chiang Mai once again after 13 years. This time around ISYA still stands a test of time and like it did in 2001, ISYA still excites me" said Prof. Boonrucksar. 



The event is co-hosted by NARIT, Chiang Mai University, Yunnan Observatory (YNO) and IAU rendering an opportunity to participants to gain an access to the most cutting edge technology and knowledge under a close supervision of world renowned astronomers.
