Astronomical cooperation with PRC counterparts under Chinese Academy of Sciences (CAS) and other partners has always been at the forefront of NARIT’s external missions. Extensive networks of collaborations are being implemented with Yunnan Observatories (YNO), National Astronomical Observatories (NAOC), Shanghai Astronomical Observatory, Institute of High Energy Physics to name a few. NARIT owns and operates a 0.7-metre robotic telescope atop Gao Mei Gu in Lijiang as a part of Yunnan Observatories.
