Regional Observatory for the Public, Chachoengsao

“Chachoengsao Observatory in Honor of His Majesty the King’s 7th Cycle Birthday Anniversary, also known as Chachoengsao Regional Observatory, is Thailand’s second fully functional regional public observatory. Located on a 36-rai plot of land donated by Wat Wang Yen for its construction, the observatory aims to serve as a center for public and local educational institutions to learn about astronomy. It supports academic services in astronomy for the community, facilitates teaching and learning in educational institutions, and serves as a significant academic tourism destination for the region.”
