NARIT employs various methods to raise awareness and communicate astronomy to the public, catering to diverse target groups including youth, teachers, the general public, amateur astronomers, and inclusive individuals. The aim is to inspire and cultivate interest while fostering a learning society that prioritizes science and technology. Tailoring formats and content to meet the needs of each group, NARIT's activities attract over 600,000 participants annually.
In an effort to enhance astronomy education opportunities, NARIT identifies schools to receive telescopes and other astronomy-related learning materials for classroom instruction and community activities. As of 2023, a total of 610 schools across 77 provinces in Thailand have participated in this initiative, igniting widespread enthusiasm for astronomy.
