Low Resolution Spectrograph

cover-image

NARIT has designed and developed a low-resolution spectrograph to enable the national telescope to study low-brightness celestial objects such as distant galaxies. The principle relies on the grism to separate light, and it can analyze spectral resolutions of 200-1,000 in the wavelength range of 400 to 800 nanometers, and can take pictures of celestial objects in both normal and long-slit modes, which will increase the potential of the national telescope to conduct astronomical research.
