Mirror Coating and Anodization

From the first "Mirror Coating Machine" in Thailand—a collaboration between the National Astronomical Research Institute of Thailand (NARIT) and the Synchrotron Light Research Institute (SLRI)—dedicated to coating the mirrors of the Thai National Telescope, boasting a diameter of 2.4 meters and utilizing sputtering techniques throughout the process, from design, construction, development to actual operation. This project has generated a wealth of engineering experiences and knowledge, leading to the creation of mirror coating machines for use in global-level astronomical projects.
